The beginning

Today I begin the first Blog I have ever written.

Let me start by saying that I am a Born Again Christian that believes the Bible is the Word of God. I believe that He shares who He is in His Word. I believe that Jesus is the Word made flesh, born of a virgin, the son of the one true living God.  I believe He died on the cross for my sins, rose 3 days later and now sits at the right hand of God.

God has blessed me with a beautiful daughter that is also my friend, a son-in-law that loves my daughter. I have three precious grandsons to love.

Recently I have been accepted to join a group from PA. on a Missions trip to Guatemala in Aug of 2011, nine months from now. This will be my first missions experience.  As I have been making preparations "to go" I am learning lessons. (a constant in my life) So, I thought it would be good to blog, I guess for anyone who is interested in seeing how God is working in the life of an ordinary woman that wants to serve Him.
I am not without fault, I stumble, I fall, but Praise His Name, He is there to pick me up, set me on my feet, and dust me off so I can again stand in Him. He is a lovingly gentle teacher.

 9 months is what it takes to give birth to new life.  I believe God has a new life in store for me and the missions trip is the birth of that new life.  Join me as I learn and grow in Him;

Blessings,
Kim
