Our God, the one who sees and provides

EL-ROI................Genesis 16:13

meaning "The strong one who sees"

JEHOVAH-JIREH.........Genesis 22:13-14

meaning "The Lord will provide"

The Lord blessed me today. I am always AMAZED at His graciousness, gentleness and loving kindness!  Yes, I cried as realization came upon me! THANK YOU FATHER for your guidence and perfect timing in ALL things!

Wanting to be obiediant to my Lord and His Word; I prayed about moving. I remember saying, "Lord I can't afford much" (ha, like He didn't already know that! silly me).  A friend rented one of his houses to me for very little money, even though it was for sale. I told him, 'you know, in my world, I'll move in and the house will sell'. He assured me that the house had been on the market for 3 years and no-one had even looked at it. GUESS WHAT?? Two weeks after moving my stuff into the house, IT SOLD. haha, yes. SO~
 So then, I contacted a local business to help me move my stuff into a storage building. They were so kind each time I spoke with the staff of this business, either by phone or in person.  During one of the conversations over the phone, the lady on the other end of the phone revealed that it was going to be a smaller Christmas this year for her child.  I stated I understood as how I had recently told my adult daughter that her and her husband would not be receiving much in the way of gifts since the majority of presents were for their kids, my grandkids.  And we agreed it really was for the kids. (this conversation was 2 weeks ago)

Yesterday the Lord laid on me to give a certain amount of money to the lady I had talked to on the phone. He was persistant in the amount too.  So~I went to the store and found 'thee card' ~ it even said something to the effect of how "God is your provider", so I looked up directions to the business and went to deliver the card and His gift to this lady.

~~with that being said, there are a few new folks at my church that I don't know.   I have noticed a lady on the other side of the room during worship, she is up front worshiping the Lord. Again, I haven't met her, but noticed her.  I try to introduce myself, but it seems people just leave so quickly after church that there is not enough time to visit with them and get to know one another. (or is it that I chat so much everyone else leaves before I get to them??? LOL)

So as I opened the front door, there sat the lady that I had seen at my church! (oh Lord, aren't you good!)

God reminded me that I do not know "all" things or HOW He will work things out, but TRUST HIM that HE WILL PROVIDE what is needed.  I was so blessed for being obidient to Him, smiles, laughter and tears flowed.

PRAISE GOD IN THE HIGHEST!

In His Grace is the only place I want to be.  My prayer is that I would be a willing vessel for Him to use for His good purpose.

Thank you to all who 'follow this blog' and read my updates. I am so blessed to be loved by so many brothers and sisters in the Lord!! :-)
in Him;
Kim
