Blessed

I wanted to share what's been happening this week.

As the weather has been below freezing for at least a week, it's been challenging.
One morning we awoke to no water.  Pipes frozen. They were fixed that evening. The next morning I was looking forward to a wonderful hot shower and washing my hair.  After just a couple minutes in the shower I realized the water was cooling off quickly... yep cold water faucet was OFF... so I hurried and washed my hair.. THANKFUL to have clean hair.
That was 5 days ago.  I am Thankful to have electricity to warm water on the stove in a LARGE pot. This has been my method of washing myself and my hair.  This morning as I was washing my hair over the bathroom sink, I was again so thankful that 1. I had a heater in the bathroom to keep me warm, 2. that I had clean running water, 3. that I had a stove and electricity to warm that water, that I was able to clean my body and hair AT WILL.  I thought of others that do not have this luxery. and yes a LUXERY even having to use a pot of water over the sink.  My God is so good to me!!
I admit, I will absolutely appreciate the blessing of a hot shower when it is available to me again. (the water heater is being replaced today while I am at work).  
Be blessed and know that our God is in charge.  Remember Romans 8:28
"We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose."
It is always so amazing to me when I again realize what a wonderful God and Father we have that KNOWS what is BEST for us. If each of us would TRUST Him, REST in Him how He would bless us for His good pleasure. Just as we like to give to our kids, it gives us pleasure to bless them. So it is with God. He has blessed me with the ability to wash...
