counterfits

It's now after Christmas and I hope everyone was able to spend time with their loved ones.

This life offers many counterfits in many forms: 
Jesus is the one true son of the Living God.  We know there is another that would mislead many into believing otherwise. The fruits of the Spirit have come up frequently for me in the last couple of days:
Gal 5:22     But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23     gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.

The following are NOT the works of the Spirit:
Gal 5:19     Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness,
Gal 5:20     idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit,
Gal 5:21    envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who 
                 do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

A person is known by their fruits.  The same of a business and it's reputation. Unfortunately there are those that would mislead and knowingly take advantage of people.  They are counterfit - not of the Spirit, nor of God.

I used birthday/christmas, and bonus money to buy the Rosetta Stone Spanish lessons. It arrived on my birthday, I thought what great timing! I was so sick on that day, that I have waited until this morning to down load the program and "begin" to learn spanish for my missions trip.  This is one of the foundational steps I am taking so I can communicate with the Guatemalans.
The downloading was taking along time, not following the guidlines per the instruction pamplet, and would not 'start' when I thought I was finally ready to 'start'........... drum roll please....... nothing!
I then called the #800 for assistance, after giving the gal on the phone my name, what I ordered, and that the package had come from overseas, she verified that I had NOT purchased my Rosetta Stone online from their website, but from an imposter website. So, she emailed me a letter stating I had been sold a counterfeit product with the hopes that the bank would somehow be able to reimburse me the money spent on it.  I've called the bank and need to go in and file a claim.  I will keep everyone updated as I find out how this progresses.

Thanking all of you for your continued prayers.  Our God is in control and says to be Thankful in ALL things. Therefore, I am thanking God and watching to see how He works out the details of this new adventure in counterfit products.
