update on digging deeper

Digging deeper~ this has been what the Lord has been pressing upon me since I arrived in ID. He is so faithful to provide, if we will only take that step in faith.

I have been watching Joyce Meyer in the mornings, (M-F) Wonderful teachings dealing with me through His word. ha, and He sure does deal with me too!

Acouple weeks ago, I rode my motorcycle to church, upon entering the church, I noticed a bike club, so I approached them and inquired about riding together, being we were of like mind and believers. They had the chaplain give me his card. Last Sunday after church, I called him and he told me that they had a bible study each Tues.  His wife emailed me. What a friendly loving person! She gave me the address and I googled it. Well, for those of you who know me, I dont follow directions to well. I tried to take a 'short cut' to get to the next main intersection. (How many of us try to take 'short cuts' in life??) Not knowing my way around to well, I didn't know if my 'intersection' was before or after the turn going to the bible study!! ha, so I called 'Sonshine' explaining where I was, and had I gone to far? She repeats, your at such and such street? I replied, 'yes' she asked what I was driving, I told her... she says is there a grey honda behind you? ha, YES, she says, they are in the car BEHIND IT!!! ISN'T GODS TIMING AMAZING!! So, she told me where to turn, I did, and allowed them to PASS me, so I could FOLLOW them to the bible study! how cool is that!!  THANK YOU LORD. See, HE DOES provide, just at the RIGHT moment... not to early, not to late! HE KNEW I WOULD TRY TO TAKE THAT SHORT CUT! and provided a way for me NOT TO BE LOST but get to the bible study at exactly 7pm, AND not walk in alone! AMEN

Sonshine had previously emailed me what they were studying.. John 18. With the following questions:
1. what title would you give this chapter? 
2. what is your favorite verse?
3. Why is it your favorite verse?
4. your least favorite verse?
5. Why is it your least favorite verse?
6. How God spoke to me in the chapter?
7. What is He trying to say to us?

There were approx 20 people at the bible study. We opened in prayer, then EACH person answered number 1- if they didn't want to, they did not, but 'passed'
We went around the room with EACH QUESTION. It was AWESOME to hear how God was speaking to EACH person, and amazing at how similiarly we answered or not! haha, very cool indeed.

The entire chapter is such an example in different ways.
I've read this book, chapter countless times. and I NEVER retained or caught attention to this verse.

Jhn 18:6 NKJV - Now when He said to them, "I am [He]," they drew back and fell to the ground.
Imagine that, all Jesus said was "I am HE" and at the MENTION of HIS NAME they fell to the ground.
LOL< imagine how that personally affected them. they could not deny it had happened.
