a few days

WOW, it's only a few days till I fly out of Spokane to Asheville! It will be great to see my friends and church family again.
The final details of the missions trip are happening... like what to pack ~ I have purchased a few items for a couple children at an orphanage. Plus there is excess cash from the generous sponsors, so that will go part for my ticket back to Asheville, and part to the orphanage as well.

The Lord has been very generous this summer. He has lead me from place to place, and I have only 'known' each step as the previous was ending. :) I believe He has been teaching me more about walking by 'faith' and not by sight. As if I were in a car at night, and could only see as far as the headlights, but KNOWING there was more road beyond the headlights, and as I progressed, so did the light from the headlights.  It has been a growing time.

As I wrote about previously, I was invited to a bible study with the Sons of God Motorcycle club. It was one of the BEST Bible studies I have ever experienced.  Perhaps, since the Lord has been telling me all summer to "dig deeper into His word" and my prayers have been that I would understand His teachings, I don't know the whys, just that it was great. I read from John 18, and so much MORE was revealed to me. Daily He reveals more to me as I seek HIM in ALL I do.

The job the Lord provided has allowed me to minister to at least 3 people that I am aware of. Have developed a relationship with, where I speak openly and they receive His word as He speaks through me. (it is SO cool to hear His words coming out of my mouth!! as HE speaks to others of His grace and mercy and salvation from this world and the PEACE He gives so freely) AMEN... how BLESSED I am.

Lately, the lesson for me is: to EXERCISE my body as well as my faith!! haha, go figure! If ya don't like what ya see, go exercise, DO SOMETHING... ook, ok... AND if I want MY FAITH to grow, I have to 'GO DO SOMETHING', I have to 'exercise it', not sit and whine and do nothing. He can not accomplish HIS goals if I do not 'move' and allow Him to work in my life.
Also, I've been REMINDED of just WHO I AM IN HIM... amen! 

1Jo 4:4 NKJV - You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Psa 27:1 ESV - Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
WOW... He is ALIVE in me! get hold of this and do not walk defeated!!  AMEN.

I love learning more and more of my Lord. Who He is and His character. He is a kind, loving, gentle Lord during this time of grace. The time in which the unsaved have an opportunity to ACCEPT His free gift of life everlasting WITH HIM.  If the free gift is not accepted, then that person will have life everlasting withOUT Him. I can not imagine a life without the Lord in it. Yes, I sin, I fall far from His perfection and grace, yet He loves me, and when I REPENT of my sin (whether in thought or deed) He is faithful to forgive me.  He NEVER breaks His Word. What the Bible says, it says. It does not change, nor does HE.

He is trustworthy. :) Something I have not experienced a lot of in my lifetime. SO~ it is HIS love that has given me a heart 'to go' to Guatemala and serve the little orphan children there.
Jam 1:22 ESV - But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.Those that have sponsored, have also been DOERS...by the doing of sponsorship, it is possible for me 'to go' in His name as a representative for those that have sponsored. THANK YOU for making this a reality.

Please continue to pray for me, for travel mercies, and that I will keep my eyes on Him and run a good race and not grow weary.
