update on my travel to CO

I have adapted to the high elevation, 10,200 ft above sea level!  Drinking LOTS of water helps. :)

Before leaving NC I had new brakes put on the front of my car. They were sqeaking a little so I called the shop that did the work.  The owner told me not to worry about it, and when I returned from 'vacation' to bring it by and he would check it out.
WELL~
My car has been parked since I arrived in CO.  I was traveling at a speed of MAYBE 20 MPH in a residential neighborhood about a block from my daughters home, when I  applied the brakes to stop at a stop sign, there was gravel/dirt in the road, my brakes locked up and I slid into the intersection about 2-3 ft!  So, my car has been parked since then due to the trailer with bike still being attached to my car... due to SNOW! Until today, I finally was able to unload the bike and clean all the travel dirt off of it. (then it started snowing AGAIN) thank God it is light snow.

God is sooo good. While driving here He held the weather off of me and gave me safe travel. Now I appreciate Him even more~ as I inspected my car I notice that the front drivers side wheel is missing a lugnut and one lugnut is different than my originals. NOT GOOD.
So after unloading my bike, I took the car for a drive around 2 blocks. The brakes are extremely stiff and not stopping the vehicle unless pressed almost all the way to the floor. This is different than they have ever been. God prevented a tragedy while I drove across country. THANK YOU LORD.
Tomarrow I will take it to a shop and have it fixed~ the right way.

God is my refuge and my strength, in Him I will trust.

{2Sa 22:3 NKJV} - The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence.

{2Sa 22:31 NKJV} - [As for] God, His way [is] perfect; The word of the LORD [is] proven; He [is] a shield to all who trust in Him.

{Psa 9:10 NKJV} - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

God is my shield and my protection.

{2Sa 22:31 NKJV} - [As for] God, His way [is] perfect; The word of the LORD [is] proven; He [is] a shield to all who trust in Him.

{Psa 3:3 NKJV} - But You, O LORD, [are] a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

{Psa 5:12 NKJV} - For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as [with] a shield

{Psa 18:30 NKJV} - [As for] God, His way [is] perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He [is] a shield to all who trust in Him.

I have also been learning more about resting IN Him, allowing Him to work in and through me~ To trust Him at ALL times. He makes a way when there does not seem to be one.

{Psa 150:6 NKJV} - Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
in His grace;
Kim
